This privacy policy sets out how we at Mindful Alice (our brand) and Mindful Alice Ltd (our company) use and protect any information that you give us.

The data practises outlined concern use of our website;, our google forms, our coaching documents and our newsletter subscription service.

We’re fully committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified with, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

This policy is effective from 24.05.2018. We may change it from time to time by updating this page, and you are encouraged to check back from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes.  If you do not agree with the data practices described, you should not use the websites, the subscription service, or make purchases from us.

Purchasing data

When you purchase one of our products online we record the products you’ve purchased, your full name and email address and to enable us to log, process your order and contact you via email if there are any updates or changes concerning your order.

Your details are stored on our ecommerce host ‘Paypal’. All payments are securely processed by this system and your payment information is never stored.

Unless you have opted in to receive marketing from us, we will store your purchasing data for a period of 6 years for tax & accounting purposes.

Personal or Sensitive Data

If undertaking a coaching program with Alice, you, the client, will be required to disclose personal or sensitive health information as a part of your coaching sessions. 

This could be verbally or via documents created by us, or via Google forms (for the health history form). This is done to enable us to make the most out of our coaching time together, so Alice and the client can review notes before and after each session and so we can talk through recommendations based on this within each  session. 

These documents are securely stored for the duration of your program, and for up to two years after the end date of your program, unless you specifically request for them to be deleted before this. This data and these documents are strictly confidential, the data is never passed onto any third party as it is solely for the purpose of Alice & the client to refer to.

How we use cookies

We may use the third party services provided by Squarespace to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns during visits We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Squarespace to make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.


Newsletter Subscription Service

You can subscribe to our mailing list via our website ‘sign-up box’, by ‘opting in’ at the checkout when making a purchase or by leaving us your details at a trade show or event.

We store your first name and email address to keep in touch periodically about company news, offers and other information we feel you’d find interesting.

We believe our products are relevant and helpful throughout the entirety of a customer’s lifetime, therefore we will keep in touch with you for as long as we are in operation and you are actively opted into this communication.

We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to store your information and deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. Email marketing messages & subscription

Under the GDPR we use the consent lawful basis for anyone subscribing to our newsletter or marketing mailing list. We only collect certain data about you, as detailed in the "Processing of your personal data" above. Any email marketing messages we send are done so through an EMS, email marketing service provider. An EMS is a third party service provider of software / applications that allows marketers to send out email marketing campaigns to a list of users.

Email marketing messages that we send may contain tracking beacons / tracked clickable links or similar server technologies in order to track subscriber activity within email marketing messages. Where used, such marketing messages may record a range of data such as; times, dates, I.P addresses, opens, clicks, forwards, geographic and demographic data. Such data, within its limitations will show the activity each subscriber made for that email campaign.

Any email marketing messages we send are in accordance with the GDPR and the PECR.
