  • Most people know I’m a fan of Ella’s - her plant-based recipes are always delicious, nutritious and look totally mouth-watering.

  • They are so damn tasty many of my friends love it when I cook for them because these are the recipes I turn to!

  • Her app is also really useful!! Convenient as it’s on your phone, so easy to look at on-the-go!

 

 

The Happy Pear

  • I love these guys - their energy is AMAZING and I love watching their vids on YouTube!

  • They are kings of super-quick, super-tasty, cheap and healthy meals! Total winner!!

  • From traditional hearty stews, to Vietnamese ramen, to 5-min curries, to creamy mushroom pasta - they have recipes for every preference!

  • Also a good place for picking up healthy cooking tips such as how to fry without oil.

 

 

Minimalist Baker

  • I discovered Dana’s blog three years ago and always return to her when I want something I know is going to be nice and simple (but not boring!)

  • She takes incredible pictures of the food which makes me want to reach into the screen to grab a bite!!

  • Yet, another quick, simple, tasty source of inspo! If I don’t find anything on Minimalist Baker I always check this blog out!

  • There are some excellent simple bakes on here - such as banana bread, but one of my faves are the mini chickpea flour frittatas! Also the vegan mushroom gravy is GREAT for the upcoming festive season!

 

 

Facebook groups

  • Perhaps and unexpected one, but one of my favourite things about Facebook is the wonderful communities within the ‘groups’ feature. You can find a group for every lifestyle and every way of eating, so you are sure to find something that you identify with. And the best thing, people want to help!

  • Join a group, and make a post, explaining where you are coming from (what you are doing health-wise right now) and what you are looking for: i.e quick healthy vegan breakfast ideas you can prep the night before.

 

 

Pinterest

  • Being a visual person, I’ve always loved Pinterest. All the beautiful, colourful pictures of food.

  • From my experience, I approach Pinterest recipes with a hint of caution, as some of the recipes I’ve found just haven’t lived up to my expectations or their promises (err where’s the flavour?!)…

  • I tend to save a library of my tried and tested recipes found via the internet here on my boards. Most of them I’ve made myself, and know that they ARE tasty, and they do work!
